New Far From Algiers reviews

Far From Algiers, my first book of poems, has recently received three reviews, each of them insightful in a unique way. Deborah Poe, a poet for whom I have a high regard, reviewed the book in Linchpin. The Baltimore poet and anti-war activist Gregg Mosson reviewed the book in Boxcar. And Susanna Roxman reviewed it in Prairie Schooner. The Poe and Mosson reviews are online; the Prairie Schooner review must be read in the University of Nebraska journal itself unless your university subscribes to muse. Another review by the prize-winning poet Barbara Louise Ungar is scheduled in a forthcoming issue of CELAAN.

You can hear me read 10 poems and talk about poetry at From The Fishouse, An Audio Archive of Emerging Poets. —DM
